I like Harry Potter because I love magical fantasy. It is about Harry Potter, who with his friends, Ron and Hermione, go on magical quests while juggling school (Hogwarts). Throughout the series, they attempt to defeat Lord Voldemort.

Because it makes me feel confident in myself, and it is a really fascinating book. Rashford is a footballer, but it also talks about how he made the child food poverty campaign, and how he is helping children get food not only from food banks.

One of my favorite books is Holes by Louise Sachar. It is all about when a boy who is innocent of theft has to go to a cruel camp. Published in 2003, not a lot of schools still use it but it is still a great tale.

Why is it your favourite book?
It is my favourite book because of the way Jane Austen portrays the female characters in the novel. In the 18th century, women were portrayed poorly however in Pride and Prejudice although women are in want of a husband they have more freedom. The character Lizzie represents this by the way she rejected Mr Darcy most women in her position wouldn’t have had a choice but she rose above it and became a powerful sight to be seen. Also, a love story always has something so romantic and beautiful in it. The way Mr Darcy’s attitude changed from when he met Elizabeth is truly fascinating.

Why is it your favourite book?
Spectacularly, this book was written by my most-liked author Frances Hodgson Burnett. I really adored this book since I love reading about adventure; this marvelous book showed me the power of being outside and appreciating nature, irrespective of how gloomy or how solitary life is – there is so much to explore. Nature cures you mentally and physically. Certainly, I would recommend this book to some minds who would like to explore. I rate this book five stars!

Why is it your favourite book?
It’s a tear-jerking book about a boy whose parents passed away and was sent to his aunt who lives in Austria. Pierrot finds himself wound up in a house with Adolf Hitler and slowly gets brainwashed into hating his aunt.
However miserable this book may be, I love it. The fabulous vocabulary, the storyline and the emotional ending makes this book the absolute best. I really recommend it.
