9 JANUARY: HONG KONG – The city’s skyline is seen over a haze of pollution. Air pollution rose to dangerous levels in Hong Kong yesterday (8 January) posing ‘very high’ health risks, as a monsoon from the northeast brought the smog from the mainland into the city.
