Yes, I would like to learn first aid because it teaches you how to save someone's life. You might need your first aid or life-saving skills if someone was drowning in a river, swimming pool or even the sea. It is compulsory to learn first aid and life-saving as you might need it in the future and school prepares you for the future.

It will be a perfect lesson to learn and use later on in life ?➡️??

It's a great idea! Kids would know what to do if somebody were injured. Lives could be saved!

I voted yes because I did it earlier this year and learnt loads of interesting things. If you know how t do first aid, then for example if you are with your friend and no adults and they collapse and stop breathing, then you could save their life by keeping them going till the ambulance get there. :)

i think its a really good idea because their is a much bigger chance that more lives would be saved and that would be just because you would learn first aid only one hour a day

No. Some people can't stand looking at blood and things like that. It should at least be an option, as some kids really don't like that kind of thing.

If you do not get taught first aid at school may I recommend scouts as they do lots on first aid.

I think first aid is very important and should be a life skill. I do not go to school but still know a lot of first aid skills.

It sounds like a great idea , but when we were doing first aid we had to watch a video of someone having an asthma attack- it wasn't an optional thing - and a girl in my class threw up ?

I have already learnt first aid at a club. I think it should be taught in schools as it is a skill for life

YES, BECAUSE IT IS AN IMPORTANT SKILL.

I think it is important to earn it but I don't think people should do lessons about it at school. Because I am sure there are LOADS of other places where people learn it and I am sure almost everyone round about the age of 7+ have learnt it out of school anyways.

Ohh, also if you do Beavers, Cubs, Scouts or Explorers you will DEFINATELY learn it at some point if you haven't already. (Just saying.)

I do this at rookies (after a certain stage in our pool you can decide to carry on doing your levels or do Rookies, which is training to be Lifeguards).

it is 2020 now and i do not have first aid lessons at all 😠
