I don't think this is a good thing because I think the poor horses would feel tired after taking all the children to and from school. I don't think you would like it if anyone asked you to take children on your backs!!! I think this is animal cruelty!! Also, the horse poo will smell!!!

It wouldn’t be very kind to the horses because I’m pretty sure they won’t like it. Also, the people on the carriage would get quite cold.

I think as long as the horses are treated well it's a good improvement to help stop climate change,but we need to make sure all animals are treated well to make it work.

I think we should all have horse drawn school buses, yet they would be slow. They would also be harming animals, yet the planet needs less pollution in. Did you know that it is healthier for our bodies if we wake at 6.00am or early. This is a win-win situation.
1) Less pollution.
2) Healthier bodies.

Horses have been bred to have jobs and help humans! Many of them really enjoy having a purpose & are dying out (at risk of becoming extinct) because they don’t have jobs in the modern world. Taking kids to school would be a good way for them to have a purpose & might also help people learn and interact with horses more which can be very therapeutic.

I agree that there should be an environmentally-friendly way of transport, but they could just buy electric or hybrid buses in order to prevent animal exploitation as well.

I feel like it is and it isn't fair because it cuts down on emissions but horses shouldn't have to do that. Also, there are plenty of other ways that you can cut down on emissions and not have to make horses do that.

I'm not really sure but I went with that it was a bad thing because on one hand we shouldn't use animals cruelly for labour On the other hand, the amount of pollution released will be reduced

I think it is a good thing because it helps with the environment and looks really fun 😀however it may not be safe for young children as there are limited adults.

Some horses are bred to pull carriages and if they didn't that breed would die out, so by having a horse-drawn school bus, that is helping reduce carbon emmisions as well as helping horses out!

There is definitely another way to stop climate change with out forcing horses 🐴 to pull us around . What if You were a horse 🐎 how would you feel if you had to pull people around all day.🤔 you could just use an electric car 🚙 instead or you could walk, scoot or cycle 🚲

This is a horrible thing. I can see the logic of saving pollution and helping climate change. This is animal cruelty and should be illegal. It would stink. How would you feel if you were told that you had to drag 15 children to school twice a day. A much better solution would be to organise a walking bus.

Horse poo would smell and you would be tiring horses, also it could take a long time depending on their energy.
normal buses would release to much greenhouse gasses and would be bat for the planet.

I think both because it is WAY more environmentally friendly than busses but also people should let the horses run wild. I voted no, I wish I said yes though now, because if the horses did that they would be helping the environment too, which would be helping them.

Also, by the way, when you say it would hurt the horses, it wouldn't, because that was only back in the old days when they got whipped.

This idea seems fundamentally flawed, as not only is this harsh on the horses, but electric batteries are still far from good for the environment! They should instead invest time into cars with alternative eco-friendly fuels.

I think it is a bad idea because you don’t have as much room as a bus. Even though it is better for the environment, a bus would still take cars off the road.

I think it's a good and bad idea. It could be a good thing because it is better for the enviorement as we are not using cars. However it could be bad incase the horses don't get treated well.

I think it's a good idea because when you're going on the carriage being pulled by the horse you can stroke it and help it out by brushing it if you go and visit him at his stable and it might cheer people up.

2. WE have LOADS of horses in the UK

Hm.......it COULD be a good thing if the horses are treated properly and not overworked, but that's not the case most of the time with similar issues.
