Do you think the Prime Minister should take the train instead of flying by helicopter?

PRIME Minister Rishi Sunak has been criticised for travelling by helicopter to Southampton and back to London.

The PM visited a pharmacy on the south coast to promote new dispensing roles for chemists. Politicians from the Labour and Liberal Democrat parties said he should be using public transport, especially on such a short journey. A spokesman for the PM argued that he has to travel between places quickly, as he needs to make the best use of his time.

Norman Baker from the Campaign for Better Transport complained: “There is absolutely no justification for this flight when a perfectly good train connection exists between London and Southampton. This habit of burning both public money and carbon with needless, highly-polluting private jet and helicopter flights needs to stop.”

He definitely should, he could have gotten a private carriage for himself. This is something that needs to be noticed more as plenty of celebrities who are protesting against climate change are taking ridiculous modes of transport such as helicopters.

Just because he can afford it doesn't mean he can have a massive environmental impact on our dying planet. Then the next day in parliament talk about how to save the planet

He should have taken the train because he is setting an example for everyone. How can children believe any politician about anything in the future if they are saying one thing and doing another? His excuse is totally rubbish because many people in the UK have busy jobs but if they could afford it they wouldn't take a helicopter to get to a meeting or similar because it's quicker.

I don't care about climate change.

His role needs a very high level of security as he could be assassinated and has a family!
