PARTS of the UK are seeing snowfall today, with temperatures dropping below freezing!

Snow alert!

North Yorkshire and Aberdeen have already experienced lots of the white stuff. Dozens of schools have had to close and transport has been affected.

Scotland is also expected to be among the worst hit areas as winds sweep in from the Arctic.

The Met Office has issued several warnings for snow and ice.

Wrap up warm!

Today (Thursday 30 November) is expected to be the coldest day of the week and there are further warnings for tomorrow.

Forecasters predict it will warm up a little as we head into the weekend.

Charities are urging people to take care of the elderly and vulnerable as the cold weather hits.
