Prince George, the future king of England, starts school

News

THE four-year-old was dropped off at Thomas’ Battersea school in London by his dad, the Duke of Cambridge.

His mum, the Duchess of Cambridge, was unable to go as she’s currently suffering from severe morning sickness. Earlier this week, the royal couple announced they were expecting their third child.

Prince George was greeted at the school gates by the head of lower school Helen Haslem, before being taken to his reception class. He was spotted wearing a cute navy uniform with red stitching.

Kensington Palace has said the prince will be known at the school as George Cambridge.

Thomas’ Battersea is rated as an outstanding school. The Good Schools Guide says it is: “A big, busy, slightly chaotic school for cosmopolitan parents who want their children to have the best English education money can buy.”
