A MAGICAL new Harry Potter exhibition has arrived at the British Library in London.
Harry Potter: A History of Magic discovers the inspiration behind our favourite wizarding world.
There are original sketches and drafts by author J.K. Rowling, illustrations from Jim Kay, rare books, manuscripts and magical objects.
Highlights include a list of teachers at Hogwarts, a crystal ball, dragons’ bones, a mermaid and a broomstick! There are even cool interactive features using augmented reality.
The unique exhibition has been created to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the publication of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.
Fun facts
- The first book in the series of Harry Potter novels, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, was originally published by Bloomsbury in 1997.
- A whopping 30,000 tickets have already been sold for the exhibition!
