EMMA Watson has made history by winning the first gender-neutral MTV TV & Movie Award for her role as Belle in Beauty and the Beast.

The 2017 MTV Movie & TV Awards celebrated the best of young Hollywood last night (Sunday 7 May) at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California, awarding Golden Popcorns to a whole galaxy of stars!

The Harry Potter star won the non-gendered Best Actor in a Movie category for her performance as a live-action Disney princess. She beat male stars like James McAvoy and Hugh Jackman to the prize.
