WHAT could the world be like in the future?

That was the question First News faced with WWF for Earth Hour 2018, the world’s biggest event to protect the planet.

Together, we have created two “Future News” bulletins, presented by First News competition winners… Russhunna, Olivia and Archie.

One news bulletin reports on a positive future where people back in 2018 changed the way they behaved to reduce the impact of climate change. The other bulletin is not such good news. People in 2018 didn’t change their ways and climate change has got out of control. So, the Earth, and those that inhabit it, are suffering.
