IS wallball the key to getting Brits off their bums?

Wallball is, quite simply, squash without a racket; yep, slapping a ball against a wall with your hand seems to be taking the nation by storm. In fact, some health experts are hoping it could be the key to getting lazy Brits off their bums and exercising outside this summer.

If you’re one of our readers in Spain, this might sound familiar, as wallball is very similar to the Spanish game of pelota.

Trial wallball courts have been set up by British Land at its shopping centre in Surrey Quays, London. If they’re a hit, we could start to see them in more places.

It would be very fun to try, and the only equipment you would have to use is a (tennis) ball!

I would like to play wallball because I have never heard of it before, and it may sound fun. It might feel good to try something new, so I'd give it a go.

I would like to play wallball to see what it is like but I think I would much rather play normal tennis as I think I would get quite bored of hitting a ball against a wall.

I think it’s a bit pointless, but everyone has to have an opinion. I’d much rather do cricket or tennis or athletics

I think that wallball would be fun because I’ve never played it before and I love trying new things.
It would probably be a good game to play when you’re bored, or you don’t have anyone to play with.
