A GROUP of cat owners in the town of Akureyri, Iceland, has set up a political party for their cats!
The group was so angered by the council’s plans to ban pet cats from roaming the streets, beginning on 1 January 2025, that it decided to take action.
The council said the ban followed complaints about cats killing wildlife and pooping in people’s gardens.
The cat owners aren’t happy though, and have announced that their new cat party will stand in next spring’s local election. Meow!

Yes, mostly because I'm a cat person though also because cats have evolved more than us humans.
And her's a bonus for you, I'd say no to dogs being voted as president, not only because I'm a cat person, but also because they evolved less than us humans! Therefore that means that cats should be voted as president (or president of the world, I prefer that idea,) because, well, they're superior.

No just because you might like cats it does not mean you should vote for a cat.Here are 2 reasons why . Cats can not talk so if it wanted to help the world you wont know what their trying to say.Secondly if someone wanted to tell the cat their plans the cat wont understand.

I would as it would be a lot of fun and funny to see how the cats make their decisions. I’m not really a cat person as I’m allergic but I would love to see a cat elected to become the prime minister or president.

This is not the way to deal with the issue of cats being banned from the streets. A cat can't make decisions.
