I open it from the stalk as well. To me, it seems satisfying. No idea why though.

I always open a banana by the black bit, but the rest of my family opens theirs by the stalk.

I actually do both ways ... it just depends what kind of mood I'm in.

If I was to open a banana, I would open it from the stalk end, I thought that was the easier way. I don't even really like bananas but no I will have to eat one and try opening it from the black end.

I love to eat bananas, so recently I’ve started eating them from the other end.

The black end, because when you open from the stalk, sometimes you press too hard, and it turns into banana mash. Deeelicious

I open it from the stalk as it is easier and I normally don't eat the black end so there would be no point!

It is harder from the black end, so I would stay with the stalk.

It's not the obvious choice to open it from the black end, clearly most people go with the stalk end, look at the poll.

I open my bananas from the end with the stalk because it is easier to get the banana out of the peel.
