In this week’s issue of First News (Issue 563: 31 March – 6 April 2017), you’ll find a special report on a plan to reintroduce the lynx back into the UK.

A group called Lynx UK want to release six of the cats into Kielder Forest Forest in Northumberland.

Many nature lovers are keen on the plan, but farmers and other locals are worried about their livestock, pets or children.

What are your thoughts? Do you think lynx should be released back into the UK? Why?

It depends, certain animals are thriving and the Lynx might cause them to go down to dangerously low.
