Telly host Jonathan Ross has landed himself in ‘hot water’ with parents up and down the land by revealing that he only showers once a week.

The star (above) meets well-groomed celebs every Saturday on his weekly ITV talk show, but he kicked up a stink about washing during a podcast with comedian Josh Widdicombe.

“I resent the fact that I have to shower,” said the 63-year-old. “I sometimes go at least a week without showering – at least!”

A recent YouGov poll revealed that, in Britain, just 55% of adults wash at least once a day.
