A SURVEY of children in the Netherlands has found that many get pocket money given to them digitally.
The survey, by banking group ING, found that two in five parents give their children pocket money digitally as well as in cash.
It was also found that, from the age of 12, most children have their own bank card too.

I don’t do online shopping so I wouldn’t really want it given to me digitally. I don’t even use my bank account.

Sometimes my parents put it in their account for save keeping but otherwise it is hard cash.

Living in a mainly digital world, and not having much physical cash/change to spare, I get my money given in to me digitally since it saves time. My grandparents aren’t that advanced, so they give me hard cash! 😊

I don't get it given digitally. I don't go to shops myself anyway.

I don’t get given pocket money digitally since I don’t do much online shopping and I prefer physical money rather than digital. It gives me a better sense of achievement to see actual money in my hand rather than digits on a screen after finishing my tasks.

I don't get pocket money because the jobs other people do to get pocket money I just do them normally with no payment. I find that fine and ok.
