For the past ten days (19-28 May), children, teachers and parents across France have been wrestling with a challenge called Dix Jours Sans Écrans (‘ten days without screens’).

The campaign encourages everyone to avoid ‘leisure screens’ for ten days.

Using screens at school for education is allowed, and schools and councils have organised more outdoor activities and screen-free evenings during the challenge.
