Could you give up chocolate for a month?

THE British Heart Foundation (BHF) is calling on chocoholics to give up the sweet stuff for March and to raise money for the charity while they’re at it.

The nationwide challenge calls for you to give up either chocolate, biscuits or cakes (or all three!) for the month of March – and raise funds for the BHF’s research into cures and treatments for heart disease while you’re at it.

Anyone is welcome to sign up for the month, but those under 16 will need to be registered by a parent to take part.

Those who raise £30 or more will receive a medal from the BHF for holding off on the chocs and for their fundraising efforts.

Here in the UK, 7.6 million people are living with heart and circulatory diseases.

I really like chocolate and even though it would be a brilliant cause, I just don't think I could do it.

Yes. I love chocolate but I think it is for a really good cause and I need to not just think of others but also about myself because I could potentially be increasing the chances of myself getting a heart disease. Plus it is only for a month so I could do it.

Yeah, well it's not that I don't eat a tone of chocolate, but for a month would be pretty hard for me.

I'm giving up Chocolate for Lent (so 40 days) and I can have it for Easter. That's what I'm doing now.
