4 MAY: LONDON, ENGLAND – Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, wearing his Order of The Merit, returns to his car to be driven to Buckingham Palace after a service for members of The Order of The Merit at St James’s Palace in London, England. Buckingham Palace today announced the Duke of Edinburgh is to retire from Royal duties and will no longer carry out public engagements from this autumn.
