Cambodia marks the start of its annual Water Festival

13 November, Phnom Penh, Cambodia: Thousands of people gather on the riverside to watch the fireworks display during the first night of the Water Festival. The yearly three-day Water Festival is one of the most important holidays in Cambodia and celebrates the end of the rainy season and the start of the rice harvesting. Approximately 2 million people are expected to attend this year’s festival.
