I would be happy to give my pet dog's blood - it has no long term effect on her and it could save another pet's life.

NO WAY! If they did something wrong then my hamster could DIE! I would not risk it! My hamster is SO FLUFFY AND CUTE! Also he wouldn't give much blood anyway, he's only tiny.
