I’m not sure it is quite mean but then Peter rabbit might not have known that he had an allergie to fruit I don’t know because I haven’t watched the film.

This is bullying since that it shows me that their making the allergy worse and this can be real pain because one allergy is bad enough but double the pain equals double the offence

This is hard to decide on. On one side, people would say it has happened in lots of films and TV shows before. Yet, on the other side the animals know that the character has an allergy to that certain food . The character may be being mean to Peter and his friends, but, is that a reason to throw something the character isn't aloud to have at them? Bullying means it happens repeatedly and, as Sony have said, it happens for one scene in the film.

Yes it is an example of bullying because in real life if someone forced someone to use there epipen as a result of a purposeful intention its bullying.

I think that it is sort of an act of bullying but I don't see why this is creating so much upset. It's not that bad. You see that sort of thing in loads of other films.

If this was a real life situation it would most definitely be bullying! However , in the context of it being an animated movie with talking animals wearing clothes, it doesn't reflect reality. So I suspect it would have been put in the movie for a little bit of fun not being expected to be taken seriously.

Bullying can be in all different forms but is as bad as each other, we must remember this as some people are more sensitive than others, therefore we should treat everyone as you would want to be treated.

It's a children's film and what do they do to inspire children? Promote bullying.

In no way is bullying acceptable, even if it is just throwing food as it can mean a lot to people.

It is not fair to hit people with allergies using the thing that they are allergic to. This scene can make people with allergies worried and upset that the same thing may happen to them. This scene is unsuitable for little children. If Beatrix Potter saw this I don't think she'd be happy with the scene.

i dont think this is bullying as it has only happened once so,although it is extremely out of order, it can not be classed as bullying unless it is happening repeatedly.

I said no ,because bullying is when someone is mean to someone more than once. However there's no evidence that Peter and his friends had been mean to that pearson before that ocasion, but there behavior is not to be copied.

I would say no, because it is only a film. I know that there are a number of films that contain scenes like this and although they may be upsetting, a film can't do anybody any physical harm.

No, because bullying is when something is done several times over a number of days. By the sound of it, this only happens on one occasion in the film. (However, it is obviously not nice behaviour).

People define bullying in different ways. You are going to see scene in movies or shows that you might not approve of personally but that's life and you have to accept that bullying is a thing that happens (unfortunately) quite often. Others could see it as advertisment against bullying.

I am not sure what to think about this new scene in Peter Rabbit. In the end I voted no, because Sony Pictures would have watched the scene over 20 times, and would have spotted if something wasn't quite right. Peter Rabbit is also the main character and has made a lot of money for Sony Pictures so I assume they wouldn't want to risk losing a lot of money instead of gaining it.

I think it is really horrible because the person on the receiving end could be really unwell! The person with the allergy should not of had to use the EpiPen.

It is so mean and harsh to bully somebody who has an allergy. They can't help it. It is especially mean if you make them have an allergic reaction. They should try to set a better example to the children who have watched this. It isn't good to promote bullying. Peter and his friends should be nicer next time.

I have not watched the film so I am unsure in Peters motive. He may not have known of the character’s allergy.

Bullying is an action, usually purposeful, which may cause someone to feel left out and unhappy. It doesn't have to happen more then once for it to be bullying and as this scene is making fun of someone, I thing it is an explicit example of bullying; this scene may teach children that it's okay to treat people differently because they can't do or have the same things as you, illustrated in this scene.

I think it is forcing a child to use their epipen and possibly putting them in a life threatening should not be shown as light humor

Peter Rabbit and his friends do know that McGregor is allergic, but it isn’t really their fault. McGregor is trying to kill them, first by putting them in a sack and trying to drown them, and second by trying to explode them!! I feel genuinely sorry for Cotton Tail, as well (voiced by Daisy Ridley) because he almost explodes her. Overall, I think McGregor is the mean bully, but the rabbits DO overreact a bit and ruin a relationship between McGregor and Bea, who is McGregor’s neighbour.

Eventually, everything is happy and McGregor and the rabbits, Peter, Cotton Tail, Flopsy, Mopsy, (I can’t remember the chubby one’s name!) are KIND OF getting along. Bea doesn’t forgive McGregor, because she loves the rabbits so much. I seriously don’t blame her!!

I don't think it is mean. It is mean in real life, but if you have watched the movie, then you will know that Peter knows the allergy. You will also know that Peter and his friends don't have any food apart from the food that was RECENTLY cornered off as part of the garden. Peter and his friends would have died of starvation. I think that he was very clever to do that. Mr McGregor (with the allergy) was trying to catch them to COOK THEM!!!! The rabbits just saved their own skins, even if it did seem a little mean to Mr McGregor. THIS IS ANIMAL CRUELTY! It is a hard decision because the man with the food allergy had also bullied Peter. But Peter should not have put his life at jeopardy.
