9 JANUARY: LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM – British Prime Minister Theresa May leads her first cabinet meeting of the new year following a reshuffle at 10 Downing Street. Some MPs, such as Boris Johnson, stayed in their roles, while others changed. Damian Hinds has been appointed as the new Education Secretary, after Justine Greening resigned rather than take up a new role.
