A school has banned its pupils from singing songs from the hit film KPop Demon Hunters.

Lilliput Church of England School in Poole is concerned that the songs aren’t in keeping with the school’s Christian values, and said some people were “deeply uncomfortable” with references to demons.

The school wrote to parents to encourage their children “not to sing these songs at school out of respect for those who find the themes at odds with their faith”.

However, many parents have pointed out the positive messages in the songs.

Acting head teacher Mr Allington responded to the feedback by asking parents to be “mindful” of different beliefs in the school community. What do you think?
