This week on FYI, presenter Jeriah spoke to the Queens Park Ladies under-12s to hear about the incredible unbeaten streak they went on to win their mixed football league.

Everyone’s eyes are set on these future star players. The Queens Park Ladies won division three of the Bournemouth Youth Football League, and went undefeated all season!

The team completed their 22-game campaign with 18 wins, only four draws and no losses. They scored 61 goals in total and let in only 11!

Their coach had a bit of a fight to have the girls play in the  league, but it definitely paid off!

One player, called Edith, said: “At the start they were all kind of sniggering, and they just underestimated us. But, especially by the second time we played them, they knew that we were nothing to laugh at.”
