A NEW report says that young adults are watching almost seven times less scheduled TV than those aged 65 and over.

The report from Ofcom, which oversees TV services in the UK, says that those aged 16-24 watch just 53 minutes of TV a day compared to almost six hours for those aged 65 and over. Ofcom says it highlights a generation gap in viewing habits, as 90% of people aged 18-24 would sooner go to an online streaming service before turning on the telly.

Although the cost of living crisis has seen a dip in subscriptions recently, the survey found around 20% of homes have access to all three big streaming services: Disney+, Netflix and Amazon Prime.

I have Disney+, Netflix and Amazon Prime, but I never watch streaming services so... :) I chose TeeVee ;D

I watch TV. My family don’t have any streaming services apart from Amazon Prime which we only watch the free movies on. We much prefer to watch a game show or comedy show than a movie.

My family just watch Netflix, as it is very expensive to get a TV licence to be able to watch live TV. I also think Netflix is better, because you can watch whatever you like whenever you like.

Streaming services are much better because you can watch at any time and not worry about having a break or it being live!

I mostly watch streaming services like Disney +, Netflix and BBC Iplayer. I feel there is more to choose from and you can watch episode after episode continously.

Havent got TV channels . Watch prime , Disney and netflix . Its a lot cheaper than tv channels and tv licence
