FYI Investigates – Stand Up To Scammers
With over 1,000 kids a month in the UK falling victim to scammers, FYI reporters Braydon and Iara investigate the issue of online scams targeting children. They meet Chloe and Leo who were victims of scams, visit the City of London Police to learn how to avoid being scammed and Braydon comes face-to-face with a former fraudster who stole millions of pounds. They also learn how cutting-edge technology is being used in the fight against scammers and how changes to UK laws mean online companies will be held to account if they don’t do more to protect their users in the future.
