18 DECEMBER: PARIS, FRANCE – Residents of the area of La Villette, northern Paris, hold a rally in front of the refugee reception platform of France Terre d’asile NGO on boulevard de la Villette, to protest against the poor conditions of migrants. Here, they light candles to symbolise the 40,000 migrants who slept on the pavement throughout 2017.
