Landslide kills at least 312 people in Sierra Leone

15 AUGUST: FREETOWN, SIERRA LEONE – Residents look on as workers remove a wreckage at Regent region of Freetown after a landslide struck the capital of the west African state of Sierra Leone. At least 312 people were killed and 600 people are missing after heavy flooding hit Sierra Leone’s capital of Freetown.
