Earthquake hits the Italian island of Ischia killing two and injuring dozens

22 AUGUST: CASAMICCIOLA TERME, ITALY – A house, destroyed in the earthquake, is seen in one of the more heavily damaged areas in Casamicciola Terme, Italy. A 4.0-magnitude earthquake struck the Italian holiday island of Ischia early this morning during peak tourist season, killing two women. The earthquake occurred just two days ahead of the first anniversary of an earthquake in central Italy in which 299 people died.
