December 6: Vienna, Austria – Austrian independent presidential candidate Alexander van der Bellen chats to the press after the results of the presidential elections. Van der Bellen won with 53.79% of the vote, while his opponent Norbert Hofer reached just 46.21%. The election turnout was 74,21%.
