Cameron Tiberius McPherson and his Magic Chair Books
Closes: 9th December 2021
Hold on to your chariot for some high-flying adventures with Cameron Tiberius McPherson and his Magic Chair, a new book about a boy with a spectacular transforming wheelchair.
The tale is inspired by the real life of a boy called Cameron whom the author knew in his childhood.
In the book, Cameron Tiberius McPherson lives with his eccentric mother, Lulu, in a tall apartment block in the town of Pimple. When a huge tornado hits, the town is turned upside down and with the apartment lift broken, Cameron finds things particularly difficult until a mysterious mechanic, Mr Pea, arrives and transforms his wheelchair into something magical. Suddenly Cameron finds he can achieve things he never thought possible. His new golden chair can transform into a mechanical spider to climb buildings, a flying machine and even a submarine.
But as Cameron comes to grips with how his chair works, he also comes up against some dark forces in Pimple society. Can he be the hero he always wanted to be…?
